学者对左延年《秦女休行》的本事庶几无考。本文根据相关的史传、作家的生平,结合诗歌写作的特点和音韵学知识,推断出《秦女休行》的本事应为汉末桓、灵之际的缑氏女玉为父报仇杀人而得以减死的故事。

Scholars don＇t have a textual research on the source material of The Song of the girl Qin Xiu.. This paper deduce that the source material of The Song of the girl Qin Xiu should be the story that the girl Gou Yu was remitted because of revenge and manslaughter for her father＇s injustice during the period of Han Emperor Ling and Xian according to the relevant history ,the author＇s life, the characteristic of songs and phonology.
