本文分析了专家系统技术应用于孔型设计ＣＡＤ的必要性，并根据角钢孔型设计的特点，提出了建立角钢孔型设计知识库的方法，并在孔型设计ＣＡＤ中加以应用。

The necessity applying expert system technology to pass design CAD has been investigated. On the basis of steel pass design features, the establishing method of pass design knowledge library is proposed, and also applied to pass CAD system.
