摘要 光突发交换(OBS)是一种可行的构建下一代光网络的交换技术,它可以在现有光交换技术基础上较好地支持网络中的突发性业务。由于业务的突发性强,所以路由和波长分配的设计是OBS网络需要解决的一个关键问题。仿真是设计网络协议和验证算法的重要手段之一,但对于OBS,目前还缺乏一种通用仿真模型。该文在NS-2网络仿真软件的基础上,实现了一个光突发交换的仿真平台OBSns。仿真数据表明,OBSns得到的仿真结果和理论分析结果相符,可以用来设计并验证光突发交换网络中的波长和路由分配算法。 OBS (Optical Burst Switching) is a viable choice for building the next generation Optical Intemet, which can support paroxysmal traffics well. RWA (Routing and Wavelength Assignment ) is a key problem that should be paid attention . Simulation is used in the study and evaluation of the new protocols, and is considered a critical component of protocol design. But for the OBS, no general simulation model can be used at present. In this paper, we propose a simulation tool for OBS called OBSus ( OBS network simulator) as an extension to the network simulator NS - 2, a multi - protocol network simulator that has been widely - used for networking research and available in the public domain. Comparison between the simulation results and the theoretical conclusions show that the OBSus can simulate the behavior of the OBS network and different RWA algorithms properly.
