The wide application and fast spreading of Expert system provides a new look for the stndy and development of the mechanical CAD. In the paper,the elementary contcnts and components of Expert system have been introduced and a new solution the best-choice of artificial intelligence has also been given, which can be used in the app1ication of the mechanical Expert CAD system.
