Selecting Arrival Ports Wisely When Importing Vegetable Oil

2005年，尽管我国植物油脂市场总体低迷、价格内外长期存在倒挂、港口供货商亏损严重，但是植物油的进口数量仍然呈现一定程度的增长。就张家港口岸来说，2005年，共进口各类植物油脂近90万吨，比上年增长11％。进口植物油一般具有周期短、时间紧、批次多、批量小等特点，因此。转运港口的选择是进口植物油过程中一个非常重要的环节。笔者长期从事口岸工作，认为植物油转运口岸的选择应综合考虑以下几个方面的因素：

2005 witnessed expansion of imported vegetable oil in China despite of the fact that the domestic vegetable oil market was slack, there were huge price differences in domestic and international market and most exporters suffered great losses. Take the Zhuangjiagang port as an example, in 2005 it imported 900,000 tons of vegetable oil, a 11% increase than that of last year. Due to characteristics of the imported vegetable oil such as short periodic time, tight time frame, heing in multi-batches and small quantities, etc, the selection of transshipment port is given priority in the process of importing vegetable oil. The author, long involved in port affairs, pointed out the following factors to be considered in a comprehensive way when choosing transshipment port.
