摘要
提出了一种基于SNMP网管系统的动态轮询算法TAP。该算法通过获取网络设备的ARP表信息进行分析比较,得到管理域内设备增加和删除等结构变化信息,然后增加和停止相应设备的轮询来适应这种变化。测试表明,TAP算法能够自适应管理域内设备的增加和删除,同时也能在网络拥塞时缩减轮询通信量。
This paper presents a new dynamic polling scheme for network management system based on SNMP. This scheme is called Topology Adaptive Polling(TAP). By analyzing and comparing the ARP table message it can obtain the ilfformation of the network structure change. Then it adds or cancels the polling of the corresponding equipments so as to self-adapt the change. The experiments show that TAP can self-adapt the network structure change such as adding and deleting equipments and cart control polling traffic when a network is in congestion state.
