Practice and Study of Library Outsourcing -A Case Study of Library Outsourcing at Library of Sun Yat-Sen University

简述图书馆业务外包的概念、意义、种类以及国内外图书馆业务外包的发展状况;全面介绍中山大学东校区图书馆实行业务外包的实施方案、方案设计依据、实施进程等情况。在此基础上,深入分析业务外包成功实践的原因,总结实施过程中的问题和不足,提出解决办法。

This paper first explains the conception, significance and kinds of library outsourcing, and describes the present state of library outsourcing at home and abroad. Then it introduces the practice of library outsourcing in Sun Yat - Sen University comprehensively, including the outsourcing design and process etc. Based on this, the paper analyzes the factors which leads to the success of the practice of library outsourcing in Sun Yat - Sen University, such as the quality control and supervision in the whole execution process, reduction of the negative effects of some work, and consideration of minutiae and so on. Finally, the paper also points out some problems which need be solved in the library outsourcing, and furthermore, some advice bas also been given in the paper.
