In this article, we will introduce a synthetic detector which is characterized by the function of error rate detector, digital oscilloscope, modem determination and EDAS-24 setting. This equipment is applied to every kind of digital seismic station and digital network with wire transmitting or wireless transmitting. The authors elaborate the working principle, composition of hardware and main function of the synthetic detector.
