At the base of the research on cement and soil retaining wall＇s deformation in foundation pit, the effect of the beam on the top of wall is analyzed, and the effective area and optimal method of the wall are further disussed. The practical project result shows the beam is an effective method to restrict the deformation of retaining wall.
