Analysis on the factors caused the frost-heaving of medium coarse sand

研究了中、粗砂在不同含泥量、含水量、密实度、级配的冻胀特征,归纳了影响室内冻胀量的因素,提出室内冻胀的分类标准,从而指导路基的勘察、设计、施工和维护。

The frost-heaving features of medium and coarse sand in sediment content, moisture content, compactness and gradation are studied. Based upon summarization of the factors influencing the indoor frost-heave capacity the classification criteria is presented for indoor frost-heav- ing analysis in order to instruct survey, design, construction and maintenance of road work.
