Design and Implementation of Automatic Backup in Desktop Database System in Library

结合广西大学图书馆自动化集成系统应用实践,分析了对图书馆业务数据实现定时自动备份与一致性检验的重要性,设计了利用UNIX操作系统结合Sybase数据库提供的相关技术实现数据库定时自动备份与一致性检验及异机存放备份文件的具体方案,以提高工作效率,消除手工操作可能带来的风险,提高系统维护的灵活性和安全性。

Based on work experience in library, the author has designed a new way that accomplishes automatically data backup based on database in library. The design was good, safe and practical, and the operation method was discussed in the paper in details.
