DICOM的普及不仅提供了高效率的图像存取和使用服务,也为医院中包括图像信息在内的综合医学信息管理奠定了基础。本文分析了DICOM标准制定的历史背景以及其主要内容,并分析了DICOM标准的运行机制特别是信息对象定义、服务类和服务对象、通讯机制等部分。最后阐述了DICOM标准如何不同厂家的设备之间、远程放射信息系统中、以及在PACS系统中作为被国际认可的医学图像标准的应用。

The popularization of DICOM not only offered high efficient service of storing and using image, but also established the foundation for the synthesis medical information management of hospitals including image information. In this article we analyze the background of establishing DICOM standard and its main content, and analyze the operational mechanism of DICOM standard, especially information object definition, service class and service object pair, communication mechanism, etc. In the end, we expound the appllcation in the equipment made in different manufactories, the long-distance radiation information system and PACS in which it is internationally accepted in the field of medical image.
