Business intelligence is a new development segment of decision support system .This paper introduces the concept and the key technologies of business intelligence ,such as data warehouse,OLAP,data mining. Based on the status of eletric power information, this paper furthers to discusse the applications and implementation of BI in electric power marketing. It can improve risk control capability and operation decision capability. Its foreground is broad.
