On the Educational Thought and Practice of JING Yuan-shan

经元善是中国近代著名企业家、慈善活动家,也是近代新式教育的积极倡导者和实践者。他重视人才,重视教育,创办了经正书院和近代第一个新式女学堂—经正女学,并致力于社会教育,为中国近代教育做出了重要贡献。

JING Yuan-shan is not only a famous entrepreneur and philanthropist in China modem history, but also is an active initiator and practice man for modem eduction. He attached importance to the talent as well as the education, established JINC ZHENG academy of classical learning and the first women school. He devoted himself to social education and made important contribution to China modem history.
