摘要
本文从学校教育体制、管理体制、课程设置及教学等方面对英国基础教育的发展概况进行简要分析,在此基础上提出我国政府要扩大校长的办学自主权,进一步完善和改进校长负责制,进一步加大义务教育的投入。同时认为要用“扬弃”的眼光看待英国的基础教育,要继续发挥我国基础教育在“双基”方面的优势,在能力、个性的发展和知识技能的掌握中,去寻求一个二者理想的结合点。
This article gives a concise analysis of the development of British elementary education on the basis of educational system, managerial system, courses offered and teaching. Then it puts forward the idea that we should learn from the experience of British elementary education. Our government should enlarge the decision-making power of headmasters, improve the system that headmasters are the persons in charge of the schools and invest more money in the compulsory education. At the same time, we should discard its disadvantages and continue to bring our advantages such as rudimentary knowledge and skills training into full play, and try to seek a way to help the students develop their abilities and characters and master more knowledge and skills.
