地下“六合彩”在农村社会的运作逻辑:关系与信任的运用 洋村田野研究

The Operational Principles of Underground Liuhecai in the Rural Context: The Exertion of Guanxi and Trust-Fieldwork in Yangcun

本文根据在洋村长期的田野研究获得的资料,用关系和信任的理论,从微观的视角来揭示地下“六合彩”在农村社会的运行逻辑:1.关系是地下“六合彩”蔓延的脉络;2.“自己人”和“外人”有着不同的交易规则;3.关系信任是地下“六合彩”交易的根本保障。最后,笔者得出了以下结论:1.地下“六合彩”是一种集体越轨的产物;2.工具情感关系是农村社会转型时期的主导关系类型;3.目前农村社会中关系信任受到了削弱,而制度信任尚未建立。

With the data from my long-term fieldwork in Yangcun, I have displayed in the article three operational principles in the rural context by using the theories of Guanxi (relationships) and trust from the micro perspective: (1) The diffusion of Liuhecai travels along the network of Guanxi; (2) There are different trading rules applied to the “in-groups” versus the “our-groups”; and (3) Truse of the Guanxi is the fundamental security of the underground trade of Liuhecai. I have reached the following conclusions: (1) Underground Liuhecai is the product of a collective aberrant behavior; (2) The instrumental-emotional relationship is the primary relationship type during the societal transition in the rural areas; and (3) In the rural areas, the interpersonal trust based on Guanxi is being weakened but the institutional trust has not been established yet.
