俄罗斯现代化道路的“西方化”情结

“Westernization” in the Process of Russian Modernization

俄罗斯现代化自彼得大帝开始至今已走过了300多年的历程。在这漫长的现代化进程中,俄罗斯始终处于欧风西雨的浸润下。俄罗斯历史上的数次改革都是向西方学习,按照西方的样板进行的。“西方化”情结在俄罗斯现代化道路中挥之不去的缘由既有地理因素的制约,又有历史因素和现实因素的影响。但是,“西方化”在俄罗斯却一次次地遭到碰壁与失败,它给俄罗斯现代化和俄罗斯社会历史发展造成了十分深远的影响与后果。俄罗斯现代化与西方化值得反思。

Rusia has experienced 300 years of modernization since Emperor Peter. During this long process, it has always been under the slow but steady influences of western countries. For example, Rusia followed suit of westcrn mode in its several reforms. Western influence on Russia modernization can be due to geography as well as history and religon. However, westernization has always failed in Russia, which has great far-reaching influences and consequences on the modernization and social development. Russian modernization and westernization deserves reflection.
