On Professional Development of English Teachers Based on the Context of the Curriculum Reform in Senior High School

摘要 近十年来,课程和教材不断更新,教师的专业发展面临巨大挑战。特别是新课程标准实施以来,人们通过对过去教育改革失败原因的反思,发现新课程、新理念向课堂深入是课程教材改革成功的关键所在,于是人们开始关注教师日常教学活动,展开了对教师专业发展研究实践的新尝试。本文基于高中英语课程改革背景,着重探讨高中英语教师的专业发展途径。 This paper focuses on the professional development of the senior English teachers based on the newly launched senior English cuniculum reform, which challenges the professional development of teachers. Particular in the implement of newly launched senior English curriculum reform, it is urgent to explore the multiple ways for the succe.ss of the reform and the professional development of teachers by the reflection of failure on education reforms previous days. It is the beginning of discussing the effective ways to help teachers with their professional development and realize the ideas of curriculum reform through their daily teaching activities.
