Wireless local area network has been a great success and is widely used to provide wireless coverage. In performance analysis, system throughput is one of the most important specifications to be considered. System throughput, especially in multi-cell WLAN, is affected by several factors. Researches on coverage overlapping, asymmetrical rejection and channel assignment are helpful for the design and optimization of WLANs.
