李世贤二破江南大营战役军事业绩评述

On Li Shixian's Military Achievement in the Second Battle of Smashing the Jiangnan Camp during the Taiping Revolution

本文根据档案史料,以二破江南大营战役为个案,从军事学角度分析李世贤在太平天国后期军事上的贡献。李世贤在战役中的表现完全可以堪称战术大支队战术实施的典范。他在战役中先后协助李秀成完成了向皖南宁国、广德和皖浙边界的战术机动;在湖州使用战术机动迷惑清军,配合李秀成奔袭杭州;建平会议后在常州方向发动战术牵制攻势,调动江南大营防御重心,使其丧失机动能力。

This paper, based on historical documents and taking the case of the second battle launched by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom against the Jiangnan Camp, analyzes, from the perspectiveof strategics and tactics, Li Shixian＇ s military contributions to the Kingdom in its last years. Li＇s performance in the campaign characterized the detachment-troop tactics： he first assisted Li Xiucheng＇s tactical march to south Anhui and to the Anhui-Zhejiang boundary, then coordinated the latter＇s assault of Hangzhou by misleading the Qing-army commanders＇ decision with tactical maneuvers in Huzhou. Later he plotted a feint against Changzhou so as to throw the enemy＇s defense into confusion, thereby paralyzing its maneuverability and facilitating the winning of the campaign.
