摘要
Epistemology study is an important aspect of the philosophy of pragmatism. This paper will concentrate on the following problems, such as views about the nature, methods and foundations of cognition, the criterions and types of knowledge and the relationship between human being’s mind and the outside world from classical pragmatist to neo-pragmatist, etc. It will furthermore point out the sameness and the difference among those views, cleaning up the way they evolved and analyzing the causes which they evolved from.
