The Measurement of Wuhan Megalopolis' Economic Connection and Its Core Area Construction

建设武汉城市圈,是提升湖北经济实力、实现中部崛起宏伟目标的战略举措。实施这一战略举措应当有重点、分步骤推进,而武鄂黄核心圈建设具有突破口的作用和重要的示范意义。本文通过对武汉城市圈内各城市与武汉经济联系的测度,认为建设武鄂黄核心圈是武汉城市圈发展的现实选择。

Constructing Wuhan Megalopolis is the strategic measure to promoting Hubei＇ s economic development and realizing the growing up of Central Region of China. The measure should be carried out in accordance with its importance step by step. It is significance to construct WEH（Wuhan,Ezhou and Huangshi） Core because of their role as the breach. The paper demonstrates that WEH Core construction is the realistic choice for the development of Wuhan Megalopolis through measuring the economic connection among cities in the megalopolis.
