ON COORDINATED SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN URBAN AND RURAL AREAS OF CHONGQING

统筹城乡经济社会协调发展,建立社会主义市场经济体制下平等和谐的城乡关系是全面建设小康社会的目标。本文以十六大精神为指导,结合重庆实际,探讨了建设重庆农村小康与统筹城乡经济社会协调发展的必然、目标及思路和相关的对策建议。

The goal of building a well - off society is to plan in an overall way the coordinated development of economy and society in both urban and rural areas and form an equal and harmonious relationship between the city and the canntry under the system of socialist market economy. Guided by the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and based on the objective reality in Chongqing, this paper discusses the inevitability and goals of building a well - off society in the countryside of Chongqing, and the ways and countermeasures for overall planning the coordinated social and economic development in the urban and rural areas.
