On Quality Education in Colleges and Universities

素质教育是培养21世纪高级专门人才的重要途径。当代大学生的自身素质与应该具备的素质有明显的差异,某些方面还令人堪忧。为此,高等学校应通过抓住课堂教学主线,加强校园文化建设,开展社会实践和公益活动,利用第二课堂强化技能培训等措施大力开展素质教育。

Quality edueation is an important means to cultivate advanced talents in the 21st eentury. However, there are obvious differences between college or university students＇ quality and their deserved quality. Therefore,it is necessary for eolleges or university to pursue quality education by taking such measures as treating classroom teaching a main way, strentheing campus cultural eonstruction, making social practice, doing beneficial activities and extracurriculum, etc.
