The process which designs for optimizing the number of plastic injection mould cavity is introduced with VB 6.0 in WinXP. Also, this process includes the design of the entire system, the design of the user＇s interface, the composing of the program code, the creating and loading of the database, the optimized scheme and correlative theory of cavity＇ s number,the optimizing,testing, and compiling of the system. An example is used to verify the good interface, easy operation, correctrunning, reliability and practicability.
