白细胞介素-21的生物学研究进展

近年来,白细胞介素2已经广泛应用到肿瘤的治疗中,但因其严重的药物毒副作用而使其未能在临床中广泛被应用。和IL2有高度同源的白细胞介素21有着和IL2相似的生物功能,特别是IL21药物的低毒性,使其在肿瘤治疗中的研究越来越受到人们的重视。本文就IL21的生物学功能,以及对IL21在肿瘤治疗中的应用前景作了综述。

Interleukin-2 for tumors has been used widely in recent years. However, serious toxicity associated with IL-2 administration has limited its widespread use in the clinic. IL-21 which has significant homogeneity with IL-2 is similar to IL-2 in biological function. Particularly hypotoxicity of IL-21 has promoted its widely use in the tumor therapy, In this article, biological function of IL-21 and ist applied prospects for tumor therapy were reviewed.
