Solvothermal synthesis of carbon nanotubes

摘要 We have successfully synthesized carbon nanotubes by the solvothermal approach at 400℃,in which toluene was used as the carbon source and solvent,and LaNi5 was used as the catalyst.The products were characterized with X-ray powder diffractometer(XRD),transmission eletronic microscopy(TEM)and Raman spectroscopy.The results show that the products are hexaganol phase carbon nanotubes with inner diameters ranging from 5 to 10nm and outer diameters approximately 100nm.The length of the carbon nanotube is of several micrometres.
