《近思录》是理学入门的基础读物,在理学思想传播和朱子学研究中具有经典地位。宋代印本文化、理学思潮影响了《近思录》的诞生;南宋书院的发展孕育了《近思录》;朱熹的学派意识、思想的逐渐成熟,也促成《近思录》产生;朱熹重视童蒙读本、重视儒家思想传播文本,使《近思录》的出现成为必要。

＂Reflections on Things at Hand＂is a rudimental reading to the study of the Confucian school of idealist philosophy in the Song and Ming dynasties which is considered as the most important classic works in disseminating the Confucian school of idealist philosophy and in studying ZHU Xi＇s theory. The printing textual culture and the trend of thoughts of the Confucian school of idealist philosophy in the Song Dynasty influenced the naissance of ＂Reflections on Things at Hand＂and the development of the academy of classical learning in the Southern Song Dynasty helped the creation of＂Reflections on Things at Hand＂. ZhU xi＇s school consciousness and his growing idealistic maturation also caused the creation of＂Reflectlons on Things at Hand＂.
