Automation Organization Function and Post Setting at Libraries

以三个典型馆为例说明设置自动化岗位要注意的四个原则 ,并着重指出不应忽视“自动化主管”和“数据库总管 /总监”

Automation organization of libraries, that is organization for personnel engaged in automation, is an important part of the whole automatic system. The automation organization functions of each library are determined by the automation construction methods adopted by this library (developing and dissemination, introducing and transplantion, simple introducing). In general, there are 17 automation organization functions at libraries, such as operating, system, programming, hardware techno- logical supporting, user service, etc.. To set up automation posts must comply with four principles.The article describes the practical posts by citing three instances of typical libraries, and emphatically points out that the setting up of positions of !chief automation officier' and !data base manager of chief inspector' must not be ignored.
