Sci-tech periodicals are main media of achievements in scientific research with innovation nature. The innovation nature is gazed at by producers, disseminators, managers and demanders of periodical information. The increasement of the utilization ratio and practical ratio are all influenced by the managerial personnel of periodicals in service departments. The aging of periodical information is divided into four basic stages, and the specific property in each stage has been analysed. In the past forty years, the speed of aging in periodical information of natural science in China has little variation.
