Comparison between Two Inter-sentential Lexical Connective Devices in Russian Discourse

句际间的词法连接手段是指在连贯话语当中句际间使用某种词类作为连接手段。连接词是最为常见的句际连接手段之一,其基本功能是实现语言单位之间的连接。时间、地点是任何物质存在的形式,反映在连贯话语中,形成了连贯话语的时空统,在这个时空统中单个的独立句子在时间、地点关系上被紧紧地连接在一起,疏状副词也因此具有了连接功能。科学篇章和文学作品中句际间连接手段使用的差别很大。这种差别,是由两者的语体特点所决定的,总的语体特点决定了各种语言手段的使用。

Inter-sentential lexical connective devices refer to applying certain inter-sentential lexical words as connective devices in coherent discourses. Connectives are one of the most usual inter-sentential connective devices, and their basic function is to realize connection between language units. Time and space are the two basic existing forms of any substance, and they are reflected in coherent discourses forming space-time system of the coherent discourses. In this space-time system, single independent sentences are closely connected together in space-time relationships. Therefore, adverbs can also have certain connective functions. The inter-sentential connective devices between scientific discourses and literary works differ much. This distinction is determined by the characteristics of the two genres and the general genre characteristics determine the application of various language devices.
