The paper deeply analyzes a number of factors influencing contemporary college students＇ ideological state. Students are greatly affected by those factors such as negative effect of the world political struggle and economic globalization, the impact of the western social ideology, the dual effect of market economy, conflicts and problems arising during the transformational period of the society, the poor family education and the inadequate work in universities. Thus the paper provides reference materials for enhancing and improving the ideological and political education intentionally and practically.
