大学生是十分宝贵的人才资源,是民族的希望、祖国的未来。新时期国际国内形势发生了深刻的变化,高校思想政治教育面临着严峻的挑战。新时期高校思想政治教育必须顺应客观形势、必须尊重大学生个性特点。新时期高校思想政治教育的有效途径有:深入开展社会实践、大力建设校园文化。

College students are precious intellect. They are the hope of a nation and the future of a country. In the new epoch, international and domestic situation have experienced a sharp change. Nowadays, college education is faced with a fierce challenge. It must conform to the objective situation and respect students＇ personality features. There are many effective ways to education on ideology and politics, such as, carrying out social practice deeply, devoting great effort to developing campus culture and taking up new fronts of education on ideology and politics actively, etc.
