Survey and Analysis of the Situation of Students' English Writing

传统的英语测试体系一直十分强调学生的写作技巧,而学生实际的英语写作能力却不尽人意,这一点很多人已达成共识.职业学校学生的应用文写作状况又如何呢?他们在写作中遇到了什么问题,怎样去写,希望在哪方面得到提高.这些都是本文感兴趣的问题.通过对徐州医药高等职业学校03级学生的问卷调查和分析,初步了解这方面的情况.

Many people have got to a common view that students＇ actual writing ability is still less than satisfactory though the traditional English testing system always puts emphasis on their writing strategy. What about the situation of students＇ practical writing in vocational schools？ What problems have they met in their writing？ How to write？ In what aspects do they hope to make progress？ Those are the issues that will be dealt with in this article. A preliminary knowledge of the situation is gained through the analysis of the questionnaires done by the grade-2 students.
