Challenges Brought to Translators by Intertextuality of Words

This paper presents the three main challenges brought to translators by the intertextuality of words： when cultural connotations and knowledge structures are incorporated into an intertextual reference, when the word is related to different meanings because of its semantic changes, and when the word involves multi -level intertextuality.
