A Return Policy of the DOCSIS Protocol Based on Priority in I-VoD Systems

以DOCSIS作为回传方式并充分考虑到用户的优先级水平,提出了HFC网络上行信道竞争时隙中接入请求时隙和交互请求时隙动态分配的I-VoD的一种实现方法,为VoD业务和宽带Cable Modem业务的融合提供了一种思路。

Using the DOCSIS protocol as a return method and taking the priority level of the clients into account, the paper introduced a realization method of Interactive-Video on Demand （I-VOD） that is dynamic allocation between admission contention slots and interactive contention slots of contention slots on HFC uplink, which provides an idea about the combination of the VOD and the broadband Cable Modem services.
