摘要
虚拟咨询服务(VRS)以其动态、快速、全天候的显著特点成为当今国际图书馆界的研究热点。文章审视地介绍了虚拟咨询服务的概念及其在国内的发展现状,讨论了在馆际Extranet平台上建立一种基于Agent技术的合作虚拟咨询服务组织的构思。
Today Virtual Reference Service （VRS） has become a hotspot in the field of international libraries. This should attributes to its characteristics of dynamic, rapidity and round-the-clock service. This paper introduces the definition and the current improvement of VRS in China, puts forward an idea of setting up a Collaborative Virtual Reference Organization （CVRO） based on Agent.
