This paper summarizes the success experience of Wang Guo-wei＇ s way of doing scholarly research in four aspects： strong knowledge foundation and creative thinking, scientific and precise manner of doing scholarly research, perseverant spirit and correct research approaches. Combining with the current research and education practice, it also explicates the enlightenment from Wang＇ s experience.
