Elastic Conception in Planning and Design——an Example of Conception Planning of Harbin Garden District

针对城市经常出现的两种问题,即城市发展变化的偶然性与不定性和城市空间日益突出的热寂现象,认为运用弹性思维来进行规划与设计,建立起功能多元的时间———空间复合结构体,以适应外界条件的不断变化和降低城市空间的热寂现象[3]的产生,从而取得更多的经济效益与社会效益。

The political and economical conditions are changed all the time in the city. There are two instances taking place frequently. The first, city condition varies incidentally and indefinitely ; the second, the phenomena of Heat Death became serious. The authors intend to apply elastic conception in city planning and design, to establish time -space structure with complex -function and to acquire more economical and social benefits.
