从“亚洲价值观”的兴起看儒家思想的当代意义

Looking for the modern meaning of confucian thoughts from the flare of Asian value

“亚洲价值观”与儒家思想之间在基本价值取向上具有紧密的内在联系。“亚洲价值观”的兴起,从一个侧面体现出经过现代转化之后的儒家思想所可能具有的当代意义:第一,儒家思想所突显的“关系本位”的伦理规范,为纠正极端个人主义的偏颇以成就更为合理的人际关系提供有益的借鉴;第二,儒家思想奠定在“和而不同”价值取向之上的和谐化辩证法,可以为“欧洲价值观”与“亚洲价值观”两大价值系统达成良性互动提供富有活力的启示。

Asian value has a close relation with Confucian thoughts in view of the trends of basic value. The flare of Asian value expressed from one aspect a possible modern meaning of Confucian thoughts which had been modernized. That involved at least two contents： at first, Confucian put forward a kind of moral system centred on relationship. Such a system can correct the extreme individualism and be helpful to built a more reasonable people＇s relationship, and the second, Confucian thoughts stand for a special dialectics, which can give an illuminating meaning for the well-talk between the European value and Asian value.
