Abstract This paper presents the steady operation diagrams and corresponding V-shape curue for the salient-pole generators in Fengman Hydroelectric Station with theories of synchronous machine. The paper also introduces the usage of the diagrams and the difference between the U - shape curve and V-shape curve of generators.
