华中网局调度大楼半导体消雷器运行情况小结

A BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE OPERATION OF SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHTNING ELIMINATOR (SLE) INSTALLED ON THE DISPATCHING BUILDING OF CENTRAL CHINA ELECTRIC POWER ADMINISTATION

本文介绍了华中网局调度大楼安装消雷器１０年来的运行情况，说明半导体消雷器具有把雷击放电的大电流变为小电流的限流功能，指出半导体消雷器的应用提高了网局的防雷可靠性。

A brief summary of ten year's operation of Semiconductor Lightning eliminator (SLE) installed on the dispatching building of Central China Elctric Power Administration is presented in this paper. The field experience shows that SLE has the capability of limiting the huge lightning stroke current which can be reduced signifiecantly. It is pointed out that adopting SLE can improve the effectiveness of lightning protection.
