According to the basic principle of expert system, an Internet-based expert system of tobacco planting is designed, in which tobacco planting theory, applied technique and computer network technology are integrated. This paper introduces in detail the software and hardware condition, the implementing method for this expert system, such as the whole structure of expert system, the classification of knowledge point, the building of the knowledge base and the rule base, the manifestation of the reasoning machine, and so on.
