形声字“声符”表意的悖逆现象是指有的同形“声符”所表示的具体意义表面上似乎大异其趣,而实际上它们的意义之间却有着各种逆向的关联。主要有形声字“声符”所表示的意义同充当该“声符”字的意义的悖逆和形声字“声符”同形,所表的意义两两相悖两种类型。

Some pictophontic characters seemingly go against the agreement of sound element and meaning element, but actually there arc various kinds of rcvvrse relevance in their meanings. Two main forms are found. One is that the sound element of pictophonetic characters and the original characters that serve as the sound element of pictophunetic characters do not express the same thing. The other is that the same forms of sound element take quite different meanings.
