Transitivity Constrained by the Functional Tenor

本文从功能角度对两种不同语域的文章进行分析,来探讨语篇的及物性与功能语旨的关系。通过对数十篇有关“银行”的广告和百科全书中“银行”词条的分析,笔者发现语篇中的及物性受语篇功能语旨的制约,同时及物性又有助于语篇功能语旨的实现。

This paper tries to explore the relations between transitivity and functional tenor in a text. After analyzing dozens of texts concerning ＂bank＂ in two different registers, it is found that transitivity of a text is constrained by the functional tenor of the text, and meanwhile transitivity contributes to the realization of the functional tenor.
