阿尔茨海默病(AD)是老年期发病的痴呆性疾病,其病因至今不明,治疗以对症治疗为主,没有其他特效疗法。文章介绍了天津中医学院刘公望教授对AD的认识与针灸治疗经验及病例。

Alzheimer＇s disease（AD）was a progressive brain dementia that occured mostly in senile person. Up to now, the cause of the disease wasn＇t fully understood without effective method other than symptomatic treatment. The author has introduced the knowledge cases of dementia treated by professor LIU Gong-wang in Tianjin University of TCM has been fescribed.
