Interpretation of Shi Tao——Shi Tao’s Painting Exhibition held by the Beijing Arts Museum

Shi Tao’s paintings are noted for its sweeping strokes and boldness. His innovative significance began to show up only when the“ Yangzhou School ofPaintings” of the Qing Dynasty began to rise. His shadow is seen in all the paintings done by painters of the Shanghai School as well as by Fu Baoshi andShi Lu.
