Expression of ID-1 Protein in Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma and it's Clinical Implication

摘要 目的探讨食管鳞状细胞癌(ESCC)中DNA结合抑制蛋白-1(ID-1)的表达与ESCC细胞分化程度、淋巴结转移及患者的年龄、性别的关系。方法免疫组织化学方法检测118例ESCC患者手术切除标本及其20例癌灶周围正常组织ID-1的表达。结果ID-1表达于肿瘤间质和肿瘤细胞的细胞质中。102例患者不同程度表达ID-1(86.44%),而13例癌旁正常组织低表达(65%),两者比较差别有统计学意义(P<0.01)。高分化鳞癌表达明显高于低分化鳞癌(P<0.01)。38例伴有淋巴结转移的肿瘤原发灶者30例(78.95%)表达ID-1,80例无淋巴结转移者72例表达ID-1(90%),两者比较无统计学意义(P>0.05)。ESCC中ID-1的表达与患者的性别及年龄没有相关性(P>0.05)。结论ID-1在ESCC中的表达明显高于正常组织,其表达强度与食管癌分化程度呈正相关,与年龄、性别及淋巴结转移无关。 Objective To detect the expression of inhibitors of DNA binding-1 (ID-1) protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) and investigate the relationship between the expression of ID-1 pro- tein and histological grade, lymph node metastasis of ESCC. Methods 118 cases of surgical resected ESCC specimens and 20 cases of normal tissues as control were enrolled. Immuno histochemical technique was applied to detect the expressions of ID-1. Results Positive rate of ID-1 expression in ESCC was 86.44 % (102/118). ID-1 expression in ESCC with higher histological grade was higher than that in ESCC with low histological grade (P 〈 0.01). Positive rate of ID-1 expression in normal tissue surrounding ESCC was 65 % (13/20) (P 〈 0.001). Positive rate of ID-1 expression in 38 cases with lymph node metastasis was 78.95 % (30/38). No relationship was found between the expressions of ID-1 and the patients' sex and ages (P 〉 0.05) . Conclusion ID-1 was expressed highly in ESCC. The expression was positively correlated with histological grade, and no related to ages, sex and lymph node metastasis.
