宫颈病变是女性最常见的疾患之一，其患病率以每年2％～3％的速度上升。近年来，年轻宫颈疾病患者有明显上升趋势。研究发现，人乳头瘤病毒（HPV）与宫颈疾病关系密切，感染了某些类型的HPV很有可能最终导致宫颈癌变，故日益受到众多学者的重视，现对HPV与宫颈疾病的研究进展作一综述。
