In fact. we have observed a shortenrng of the average time of wound healing of about 50%, and lack of recurrence of the septic pathology. In intraccrebrel rnfective pathology treated with CO2 laser we have seen the lack ot local complication and the lack of recurrence of the infection,The use of the lasec had not a great influence in the mortality or in the recovery lime because these patterns are greatly influenced by the preoperative, neurological status and by the anatomic charaeterisucs of the lesion（presence of a capsule, surrounding encephalitus, abseessual collection volume）. The clinical good results of laser treatment in cerebral refecvions is probnbly due to several factors：1. Thermal effect 2, Photodynamic effect 3, Resonance effect 4, Mechanic surgical effect
